Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use the NationalSkill Academie (NSA) app or website (nationalskillacademie.org). NSA is run by Veecap Eduventures Private Limited, Research Park, IIT Guwahati, Assam, India (“we”). By creating an account or paying for a skill, you agree to these terms.

Your account

• Students sign in with their mobile number, verified through WhatsApp. Use your own number and your real name — it is the name on your certificate.
• One account per person. Do not share it, sell it or sign in for someone else.
• Keep your phone and WhatsApp secure: you are responsible for what is done with your account. Tell us at once if someone else has used it.
• NSA is meant for college students. If you are under 18, you may use NSA only with the consent of your parent or lawful guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf.
• College and partner staff accounts are personal: keep your password secret.

Semesters and skills

• NSA’s programme runs semester by semester. In each semester you study one skill.
• A skill has video lessons, MCQs, projects that reviewers mark, and the semester’s final exam. A lesson’s MCQs open after you watch it.
• Paying for a skill opens it in the app for your account — see the Delivery Policy.
• We keep improving the courses, so lessons, questions and projects may be updated, added or replaced.

Payments

• Prices are shown in Indian rupees in the app or on the website before you pay. A coupon, where one applies, lowers the price before you pay.
• You pay through PayU, our payment gateway, by UPI, card or net banking. We never see your card, UPI or bank details.
• All payments are final and non-refundable. The Refund Policy explains what happens if a payment fails or you are charged twice.

Certificates

• You earn a skill’s certificate by passing that semester’s final exam. It is issued only after your NSA partner — or NSA — reviews your learning record and approves it (the Privacy Policy says what the record contains).
• Once approved, it appears in the app, where you can view and download it. If it is declined, the app shows the reason.
• We withhold a certificate when the record shows malpractice — for example, someone else taking your exam or doing your projects, copied or fake project work, or using leaked answers.
• If you think a decision is wrong, contact your NSA partner or us: a declined request can still be approved later.

Your conduct

Use NSA for your own learning. Do not:

• let anyone else watch lessons, answer questions, submit projects or take an exam for you;
• copy, record, share or sell lessons, questions or exam content outside the app;
• upload work that is not yours, or anything unlawful, offensive or harmful;
• try to break the app, get around its locks or security, or open lessons and exams early by tricks;
• harass or mislead other learners, staff or partners.

If you break these rules, we may suspend or close your account and withhold your certificates. Payments are not refunded.

Content ownership

• The lessons, questions, exams, text, designs, logos and the app belong to Veecap Eduventures Private Limited or to those who license them to us. You may use them only for your own learning, while you have access.
• Your project work stays yours. You let us store it, have it reviewed and marked, show it to your college, and share its title, status and marks with whoever reviews your certificate request.

NSA partners

• NSA partners (franchise partners) are independent businesses that offer NSA’s programme to colleges and students. They are not our employees or agents.
• A partner may sell you a skill, support you and review your certificate request. Any promise a partner makes beyond these terms is the partner’s own.

No job guarantee

NSA teaches skills and certifies what you have learned. We do not promise a job, a placement, an internship or any income from a skill or a certificate.

Availability and liability

• We work to keep NSA available, but it may sometimes be interrupted — for maintenance, or when a service we rely on (the internet, YouTube, WhatsApp or PayU) has a problem.
• As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost opportunities or income. Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the skill the claim is about.
• Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under Indian law that cannot be excluded.

Closing your account

You can stop using NSA at any time and ask us to delete your account — see Delete your NSA account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute about these terms or about NSA will be decided only by the courts at Guwahati, Assam.

Changes

We may update these terms. The new version applies from the date at the top of this page; if you keep using NSA after that, you accept it.
